Position: Part-Time Venue Grounds Assistant
Schedule: 10-15 hrs/week. Flexible hours, primarily weekday mornings or evenings. Compensation: $16-18/hr based on experience Job Description We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic part-time Venue Grounds Assistant who loves spending time outdoors and has a genuine interest in flowers and plants. This role does not involve mowing but focuses on other important landscape tasks such as planting, weeding, watering, pruning, and general garden care. The Venue Grounds Assistant may also occasionally help with light maintenance items at the venue. |

Responsibilities
• Assist with maintaining flower beds and garden areas
• Water grass and plants as needed
• Prune shrubs and flowers to promote healthy growth
• Remove weeds, sticks and debris to keep grounds tidy
• Perform light maintenance tasks (ex: replace lightbulbs, seal benches, spread mulch, etc.)
Requirements
• Must enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Interest in flowers, plants, and landscaping
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely
• Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented and ability to work independently
• Previous gardening or landscaping experience is a plus but not required
