November 2018 // Snowy styled shoot dreams really do come true!
As I was sitting at home watching the snow start to fall with what was to be the first blizzard in years, I just knew it would be the perfect backdrop for a styled shoot - but we'd have to act fast! I messaged Keasha with TRUElove Coordinating & Design, who after sleeping on the idea woke up ready to plan a snowy shoot in a little over 24 hours!
Keasha reached out to her good friend Blair with Blair Jennifer Photography to see if she'd be game for a last minute shoot in the snow. Blair had an engagement shoot scheduled for that day, however her sweet couple, Joe and Madi, happily agreed to move their shoot from Lawrence, KS to Holt, MO! Just like that we had models and a photographer! Not only that, but Madi's sister Logan is a talented makeup artist who runs a popular style blog Looks by Logan. Perfect!
Wild Hill Flowers and Events graciously whipped up a stunning bouquet and wreath for our horse. Wait... we needed a horse! I reached out to our friends (May 2018 couple Ken & Elizabeth) and they said we could borrow their quarterhorse Sassy for the shoot! We can't thank Ken enough for taking off work and loading up their horse in the snow for some crazy wedding vendors to take pictures! Sassy rocked her modeling debut!
Huge props to Keasha for putting this all together in TWO days and the amazing vendors and friends who froze their feet off for the sake of gorgeous photos! You all are the best! We hope you enjoy these Snowy Winter Barn Wedding inspo photos as much as we do!
